London Legal Walk 2016

On the 16 May some of the Thames Water Property Searches' team took to the streets of London and joined around 10,000 participants made up of members of the legal profession, business associates, friends and family, to take part in the 2016 London Legal Walk.

The 10km walk was around some of London's legal landmarks, beginning from Carey Street behind the Royal Courts of Justice, up to the parks as far as the Serpentine Bridge and back again. The end of the walk was celebrated with a street party and was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for everyone.

As well as having a lovely evening, taking part meant that we raised much needed funds to support free legal advice charities in London and the South East. With recent cuts in legal aid, this funding is essential to continue to support the most vulnerable of people.

Jason Harper, Account Manager at Thames Water Property Searches, took part in the walk and said, 'it was great to see so many people from the legal sector coming together to support an excellent cause. We had a great time and are proud to have taken part for another year!'
